Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
Instructions
Prepare the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated. Mix in the vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
Add Mix-Ins: Gently fold in the crushed freeze-dried strawberries and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Shape the Dough: Scoop tablespoons of dough and roll into balls. Place them onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake: Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers look slightly underbaked. Do not overbake.
Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
